biting less hair
a brand new blogskin! for the brand new me...as i embark on my voyage into the new semester! oh well...at least i'm lucki not starting school as earli as my other dear arts fac ppl..but i have other stuff (esp lotsa paperwork for SEP) to deal with...but once the dust settles for all this...i shall begin my journey to the UK, but of cos...mani mani things n ppl in singapore shall be dearli missed...
before i begin to digress...apologies for not updating as usual as i shd...got lotsa thots floating in my head as usual...but no time to sit down n type it all out...and yes...i've been MIA from MSN...and when im online im oso diff to speak to... =P juz ended sch attachment at coral...and saw the end of it after visiting moe on fri for the final feedback session...so that marks a great big giant fullstop for my coralite adventure...pix up SOON...i haven collected them from all over...n i haven made my collages...so pls bear with me...
the buzz in hall is kinda keeping me alive...with FWOC and seniors perf and all...and the search for my successor continues...but as usual...having to deal with ppl problems sends mi into a frenzy...so i kinda hope i can juz pass it up and end it with a fat FULLSTOP. a nice fat one at that...haha...things are going along fine i guess...juz a week or 2 and i'll be fine...altho it realli feels kinda diff without myself living in hall, without having to worry abt cobwebs at the corners of my ceiling, without deciding wat to bring into hall to decorate the bare room...and...without my lovely neighbour mummy...hmmm...realli realli kinda weird... like the past 2 yrs were a dream! *sigh* but perhaps it shall continue...when i come back next sem...=) and get to sing agn...n work with INSPIRE...and have neighbours...and yes you get the idea...
been deciding when and where to have my bdae/farewell chalet! now it depends on primero for aranda...it's realli cheap and nice la...but if not i shall retreat to pasir ris costa sands tucked in the safety of the park i noe so well... =)i tink both works for me...nows juz the time to get everything running...
and yes! i got my haircut todae! that explains my MSN nick 'less hairy'...and dyed it...first time that i dye my whole head...but it isn't as bombastic as u tink it mite b...im still mi! my head is much lighter...n of cos...no need to tie hair any more...so byebye to my scrunchies...n hello to my mini croc clips...hehe...
when we were bored in the meeting room at coral...we had alot of crazy discussions...one most memorable one is the 5 aspects of your bf/gf...some of us shared behind closed doors...and nows my turn! =D
1. sense of humour --> i alwyz end up being the butt of everyone's jokes...and u can't realli expect mi to laff at myself...so he gotta make mi laff! or if i can laff at him...thats realli fine too...
2. filial --> not at the extent of mummy's boy...but gotta be the type that thinks of his family...and on good terms with them...if he can't be on gd terms with his family...how can he be on good terms with mine?
3. not onli hears but listens --> yes i talk alot...so he muz be the listening ear and understand me...so muz internalise...tts the diff...u hear noise but u listen to music...
4. treats me like a princess --> yes i wann be all those disney princesses rolled into one...little lamb, or fierce ox u sae?
5. can be cranky --> this is one special characteristic of me...so perhaps if he is this wae...he can understan mi better...birds of a feather flock tog wat...eg. when im tired...i speak like im drunk...ahaha...see u can tahan or not...

as i end my long post...juz one last thing...
as i type on my blog...i noe that mani mani ppl can access it...which explains y some of my frens dont like to be linked and they remain on my bookmarks...or y some prefer to remain called by their nicks even when they are linked...i don mind anonymous ppl reading...but somehow...i kinda feel that they are intruding if i become the topic when they have nothing to do...and spread stories and tales abt my life im leading...not tt ani serious stuff have happened...but i kinda feel watched...so if u would like to read...or comment...juz drop mi a msg on the comment box! and if u can...dont remain anonymous...unless u realli have something to hide...

a lazy thurs morning for a lazy me...no lessons today...onli gotta search for questions to give my students as homework...yest saw the end of my geog teaching...haha...n they finally put up their mindmaps on the wall...hooray...
using the comp in the meeting room again...so no pictures...but shall have them on when i reach hm later...shall chopchop finish up wat i can now so go home can shake leg liao...wahah...sat another lito to come...and so happi...my cheque for past litos is ready! *cue to sing: money money money, what's so funni, it's a rich WOman's world...*

needing a hiatus
once again in my cosy meeting room in coral. 2nd week to go for teaching...to be more accurate, juz 3 more periods of teaching to go. over the days have managed to teach in many different styles: powerpoint, preparing worksheets, marking essays. todae they did mindmap, the teacher sneaked out halfwae to let mi teach alone. lucki nothing went wrong...haha... *phew* 2 more periods for tml to finish up on what i have for my rivers, and last period on fri to do report review and prepare homework for their weekend (which i wont be marking..haha..)
later for cca gonna sit in for drama...hope i will be of some use... =P realli miss the times i was on stage...being someone i wasn't...or mebe someone i was 'inside'...haha...
as FWOC and senior's performance come nearer...i realise i stil have lotsa admin stuff to do! oh well...gotta get it over n done with and hand over soon. stil have to settle air tix and my veri earli bdae celeb/get-together....im like heading no where la...get urself organised!!
miss working areadi...haha...but at least went for LITO on sat n sun...for timesworld group agn...lucki a small grp so not tt tuff...duno abt the daes ahead...haven confirm schedule wor...and the kingston training centre people keep calling me la...but wat a pity...i alwyz cannot go! would be nice to go for at least once to see what everything is all abt...
oh yah..to update on my movie list! basic instinct 2...sharon stone was not bad wor...despite me not watching the first one...which i read from magazine they said was 14 years ago...wat a long time...aniwae...was lucki they din check my ic...haha...so i look okie for a 21 year old.. (i tink)...what more to watch? hmmmm...

teaching among the corals
day 3 at coral sec sch...had a good welcome on the first dae...veri formal introduction during morning assembly...heard fr other schs they oso don hv loh...haha...*beams*mentors and vp n p were all very warm n friendly...with 4 other colleagues to boot...thanks to yonghui, lydia, timothy n sinyee for the company dae in dae out! =) stationed in the meeting room with our trusty drinks dispenser...first dae left school onli at 5 cos we took part in a curriculum planning workshop where the whole school (of teachers) were involved...some rather interesting tips n stuff picked up...but was tiring la all in all...after tt had a great meetup with my GSOs...azni, agnes, juraimi, his gf farhana and razak! thanks to u guys for making it a wonderful evening and the food was cheap n great! pix up soon...
day 2 had the first chance to observe lessons...sec 3 geog class and sec 4 eng class...a new perspective cos i was treated much like an alien..ahha...and me myself was trying to make myself look as invisible as possible...not veri effectively done...and trying hard not to fall aslp during the eng period oso..cos they were doing their compo n boy was i zZz...was assigned to go thru their compo n prepare a review lesson on fri! *sweat* went ard to look at the ccas after sch...co wasnt veri attractive compared to drama...haha...
todae is dae 3...had my first teaching experience teaching geog! muz remind myself im not giving presentation...im TEACHING...haha...lotsa kan chiong spider antics from me...but was glad to learn it the hard wae...thru real life experience...but i realli think i too kanchiong liao... =p muz jiayou for fridae's lesson...pls be interesting... *knock head agst the wall*

adventures of the touch pool...
right here in sunny sentosa, we have the underwater world singapore which is heavily visited by tourists and locals alike, be it a weekday, weekend, holiday. in short any other dae. and as a guest services officer, there are mainly 3 'stations' to be at when u are working. one is to be an usher, then at the information booth(where i am at now) and the touch pool.
the touch pool is a rather interesting place, where visitors get a chance to touch marine creatures in their living environment (the water). examples include blue-spotted sting ray, archer fish, bamboo shark, starfish etc. touch pool means putting your hand into the water and stroking them GENTLY. this is not a catching pool, neither is it your swimming pool. and for goodness sake, don't lift the creatures OUT of the water (before i push your face inside the water if you would so like me to). and i can clearly see where the water level is, so don't tell me you are not lifting the starfish out of the water when u clearly are doing so.
staff are advised to maintain a central position in the middle of the pool where it is a popular spot for tourists to stand and touch the creatures. visitors are denied permission to squeeze your fat backsides when there apparently is someone standing there. and shoving your elbows into the staff who is holding on tightly to the edge of the pool to avoid being squashed out. and visitors are reminded to keep your volume down. don't scream across hundreds of kilometres to inform your family/friends that you have seen a shark. why, sometimes you even get the names of the sea creatures WRONG! and please note that there are no dolphins in the pool, much to your disappointment.
perhaps there should be a suggestion to place cleavers/choppers loaned from the diver's quarters where they use them to cut the food for the fishes. and place them at a strategic position where staff can easily place their hands on these tools, and chop people's hands to feed the sharks. -_- ROAR!
but of cos, there are fun times. like taking out shark eggs from the pool (bet you never seen or touched one before eh? haha). touching the creatures, feeding them (my favourite)!
but for now, my wish is very simple. no cleaver by my hand sadly. but i WISH/HOPE/PRAY that visitors who are rough to the animals get bitten, or their personal items that are afraid of water (handphones, cameras, bags) FALL INTO THE WATER.

fri...budak pantai...ymca...thankew guys for the wonderful nite...hongyi mummi, jonni, jianxin, vincent, wk, chengsi, dao n diana...
sat...excursion to the air force musuem and yummy-licious food tour at the hawkers. and of cos a great swim at the pool!
live life, love it.
