last sem geog was prof henry n roth...henry was fr hk...so he had tt typical accent...but he's been living in spore for qt along time liao...so he has learnt our wae of lahs, mehs n lors...v cute...roth was angmoh...peculiar accent...don realli noe fr where...but stil clear n acceptable...
eng was prof madelena who was fr portuguese...lit was dr sankaran who was indian i guess, n dr turner fr uk or scotland(?) cos he sounds so much lk dear mr elwin...hee...den translation was dr daisy...well she's oso fr hk but her pronounciation took abeet more of exercise on my ears...stil surviced tho...
now this sem is exciting...eng no prob...dr mohanan is uber clear...she's fr india i guess...den bio n lit is no prob cos sporean...most challenging-est is my 2 geog modules...
mon geog is by one angmoh...prof james...his accent nt too bad...used to it areadi...but todae was by the other prof...prof lee...n surprise surprise she's fr korea! altho she doesnt look lk it...so it was challenging to listen to her speak during e lect...catching her words is great ear exercise...realli admire suzanne jung fr channel newasia cos she's korean but no deep accent...
thurs geog is by dr wang...she's fr china...yeah...so got some difficulty hearing her...gotta keep my ears open...so much for international lecturers n their accents...

thurs 13 jan...met yuanhao for lunch at arts...haha...i din eat...cos thx agn to brendon da ge da da's brekie...i was full to e brim...so onli drank apple juice...den aft tt had geog lect...ok la...she's nice n can catch ppl's attention...nt lk roth...oops...haha...bought a 2nd hand bio text fr someone...v heavy...but in v gd condition oso...so v happi...e person msged mi he wld b reaching in 5mins wearing red T black berms...den juz nice yuanhao oso wore tt...so we were irritating him by saying act he is e one who wans to sell mi e bk...den he nv tell mi...haha... den brought yuanhao n zhen to my rm...2 of e first visitors to my cosy rm apart fr e hallies...we watched qiang2 wei1 zhi1 lian4 disc 1...haha...ella is sOOOoo cute...den zhen left for her lect, while mi n yuanhao went for our own bio lect...so mani ppl...den its in sci...so we were nearli lost...so not user frenli ah sci fac...learnt so mani new things abt bio...aft all its my first time doin it...n e lecturer is v cute...abeet round...noe how to mk us laff...but gotta go rem wat each term means...challenging eh...
fri 14 jan...met yuanhao for lunch...this time i got eat...oyster egg at arts...but ah...not realli nice...satisfied my craving...or rather extinguished my craving....haha...no more outside oyster egg for mi...den met qianchou n baoz when they came out during their break...den we went for eng lect...she's an indian i guess u can sae so...her surname is mohanan...i had this idea tt she was an angmoh...haha...but she was nice...n clear...no heavy accent...so v ear-frenli...saw cheryl in e saem module...yeah~ got more company liao...den aft lect...i left for hm...met yishu fr his rm window...haha...finalli get to c him aft e long hols...took e lOooOOng ride hm on bus...
watched hanging up on channel 5...abt these 3 sisters...one v busy w her work, one lk to travel, den onli one closer to her dad...den she got v stressed when her dad bcame senile...n alwyz had to beg her sisters to come bk n see their dad...den they finalli came bk tog...den their dad passed awae...but since then they were able to keep in contact n hv fun tog lk e gd old daes...nostalgic eh...
sat 15 jan...went to guilly...brought mingfeng along...n met zhen at bus stop...n i'm so happi cos my dear cute swt leetle seok hian is bk...hee...played puzzle w her...played games...shd gv her another puzzle on childrens' dae...heard weifen sae her mom says tt seok hian can do 500 pieces...no sweat...v patient girl...oh yeap...n i hv bcum treasurer for guilly..interesting ah....haha...
den aft tt went to old aiport rd hawker to eat...ate e yun tun mian...not bad la...fillin n onli 2 bucks...den aft tt went to suntec...saw e ppl eat e jap buffet...nxt time i oso wan to eat...sashimi here i come! den went to clarke quay there...den went hm lorh...watched dead man on campus on channel5..altho abeet catch no ball...but i don mind brainless shows realli....haha...
sun 16 jan...bazang came all e wae to send mi n e keyboard to joochiat...had meeting for ntu production thingy...sounds qt exciting...mi in script comm...haha...n of cos naturalli in e song writing comm cos its a musical play...hopefulli i can act too! den wil b v fun returning to e stage...den had run thru of e songs we'll b performing...mi singing 2...being 'ghost' (aka harmoniser) for one...den they got feedback sae its too long...hmmm...duno wat i can do to improve...sighz...
happihappi tt ppl r coming to watch geyao...so far got yuanhao n xiaofei, zhen n lin, yuwei n fren, n mingfeng...yeah lorh...betta than nth huh...hee...

todae was my free dae...
had brunch w e noodle brendon da ge da da dabao-ed for mi...thxthx...den he msged mi whether i wanted lunch...i was feeling full so onli told him to get watermelon juice for mi...after tt went to coffe club there to buy e film studies text bk fr somebody....my first text bought! haha...in v gd condition...yeah~ den missed e bus so decided to walk bk...b healthy ah...n climbed e stairs up...which made my heart beat faster abeet, n absorb some melanin too...haha...
den aft tt went somerset to meet mingfeng...was feelin hungri so went taka food court to eat sth...ate e omelette noodle...not bad...den went to cine to check out e movie times...in e end we settled for a show called london voodoo...not realli tt impressive la...alot of stuff expected...abt this couple moving into a new house...den e wife found a tomb in e cellar n got possessed lorh...got mention abt e pt tt e husband spend too leetle time w e wife...altho nt one of e main pts...haha...
i tink tts true of mani of us...we sae we love n we care abt ppl...but sometimes u tend to neglect them esp if they r those closest to u...u tk them for granted sumtimes...even if u do leetle things, but u do it frequentli, wil mk ppl feel appreciated...n sustain e r'ship as a rslt...perhaps one mite b to rem special dates n stuff...lk e surprise of ppl when u send someone an sms on his/her bdae or dae of exam n stuff lidat..den e person wil feel v touched...n wil mk u feel v appreciated oso...
ok...while waiting for e movie went to e cafe one floor below e cinema....tt one w e xtra large seats...ate choc fundge sundae...nt veri impressive agn...haha...aft e movie...went to heeren walkwalk...den went to eat at nooch at wheelock...was still full...so onli ate chawanmushi n drank this momo juice...consisting of strawberry, pear n kiwi i tink...not bad...rather special...chatted much...
den took bus bk to hall...n now here i m...slping soon...wan anz...

wat the stage is to me...
since young, i hv been frequenting the stage, and learnt to love it. explains y my life feels rather empty now without the stage.
i rem my first stage perf was in kindergarten. our annual graduation concert. i wasn't a flower, neither was i dressed up lk a particular animal or playing w hula hoops n stuff. i was the host for the show (aka emcee) along w another fren, minyi. i stil hv e videotape on which it was recorded and hv since transferred it into a cd. tech has changed. i tink my mum bought it cos i was in it. watching the tape makes mi wanna laff at myself...super blur one. not lk i v not blur now but yeah u get the idea. so tt was e first stage perf i had.
oh yeah...forgot to add some bkgrd info on my childhood. i was a potato when i was young. cos i came fr an english speaking family. read eng newspprs. so onli noe eng. yes i watched channel 8, esp those drama serials w 一姐 zoe tay, 二姐 fann wong n 三姐 ann kok at tt time...but i read e eng subtitles in order to understan the show. tt explains my high degree (in short sightedness). i come fr a hokkien speaking teochew family on my paternal side, sounds confusing doesnt it? but juz means im teochew, but my relatives speak hokkien, onli to my grandparents then they speak teochew. so last time when my grandpa ask mi anithing, i wil juz nod my head. cos i don understan anithin...saem goes for hokkien. then alwyz end getting laffed at...cos i got tt blur face...n onli noe how to nod my head. *nodz* til now, i do understan la, but if u tell mi to speak, it stil sounds weird...
as e potato mi entered pri sch, i got exposed to chi...joined the chi drama club, er2 tong2 yan3 yi4 ban1 儿童演绎班...hd v nice teachers...husband n wife team...then they got appear on tv for cameo roles, lk principal teacher or grandma tt kind of stuff...so fr then on, i was into chi areadi, n bcame i can sae billingual ba...rem i took part in cross talk w my fren kaisi, the jin mu dan trophy or sth...took part in the courtesy skit nationals...den for sch perfs: recited poetry, told stories, yan3 jiang2 competition...acted as animals of plays: jiao1 ao4 de4 xiao3 gong1 ji1 骄傲的小公鸡(rem i had to bun up my at tt time long hair), gui1 tu4 di4 er2 ci4 sai4 pao3 龟兔第二次赛跑(i was e rabbit yeah)...
i stil rem in pri 1...was stil v potato...so took part in eng poetry recitation...den it was on slping so i wore my PJs n took my doll up...haha...den even took part in indian dance...e teacher liked mi alot cos i was e onli chi gal in there...haha...played the angklung bfore oso...an instrument made of bamboo...i rem i played the note E...as i was head prefect last time (yes surprise surprise) i got to lead the pledge, national anthem, eye exercise, give commands...even got to lower the flag n stuff...den oso got perform for teachers dae and the sci fair...those were the daes...b it beeg stage or small stage...
in sec sch...was in chinese orchestra. so was on the stage for dazu 大组( whole orchestra) and xiao zu 小组(erhu ensemble)...stil rem once i played the zhonghu中胡 as accompaniment...forgot for wat song liao...but i tink it was a chui da 吹打 perf...apart fr co...i did more hosting...speech n prize giving dae, national dae, our orchestra's china tour, morning announcements...all these little 'perfs' made mi love tokking in frt of ppl even more...i sang for talentime evri yr...sec 1 was evelyn tan's xiao de zi ran, sec 2 was teresa teng's yue liang dai biao wo de xin, sec 3 was (i forgot oops...), sec 4 was a duet w my hungyi kor...we sang ni zui zhen gui for the auditions, den changed to this gigi leung n leo ku duet for e comp...i forgot e name agn...*cripes*
stil joined in story telling competitions in sec sch...sec 1 was qun2 kou3群口 story telling...e title was ben4 niao3 xian1 fei1笨鸟先飞...n yes i was e ben niao in e story...this boy(!) who stutters but v hardworking...sec2 was dan1 kou3 jiang3 wei3 ren2 gu4 shi4单口讲伟人故事...i told the story abt hua4 tuo2 华佗the great doctor...sec 3 was wen2 zhang1 lang3 du2 文章朗读as a grp...forgot the title liao...den as a class in inter sch comps oso got...zhan4 qi3 lai2 de4 mei3 li4 站起来的美丽in sec 3 n huang2 di4 de4 an4 hao4 皇帝的暗号or sth in sec 2...
yepz..so i was alwyz described as e 'alwyz on stage as host, got sing song n in co tt gal...' haha...
in jc...bk to drama...yr 1 most memorable was our xiao pin...i was in a grp w chendi, weizhong, jennifer...hope i din miss anione out...we had much difficulty comin up w a script...but in e end we settled down w our hei1 (literally translated as black)...n i got best actress...was a pleasant surprise...had geyao for both yrs...yr 1 sang she song re dai yu lin w jiahui n meiwen...den yr2 sang qiumin n meiling's song...n it was geyao tt brought mi in to mainworks...yr 2 took part in lv yuan...was e schizo lili...similarly, our story underwent mani changes, i stil hv all e copies of the scripts w mi...rem the times w the cast n directors: mindan, yonghao, eunice, joycelyn, xiling, cuiqin n lydia...
sang she song w lynnie n zhen for alpha house function...hosted mooncake fest celebrations...
presentli, frequent perfs w the mainworks, belting out my own compositions...been to suntec, west mall, spore conference hall, marina mandarin hotel, telok kurau park, sheares hall...had our own perf at mox bar n cafe last yr...
thinking of my nxt perf on stage, as in theatre...*wonder*
to all who hv supported mi in my perfs n given mi the drive to continue on in one wae or another. a great beeg THX.

past midnite liao...so...yest...went for guilly...seokhian din come...so mi stuck ard w yanting...cute leetle bundle...but super full of energy...run here n there..i tink i lost a kg liao... aft tt went bugis met mum...bought a pair of gai-gai sandals...i tink look v indian-ish..hee..."hao sheeennn qiiiii..." n a pair of jeans...yep...i tink i'm into pink...i bought 2 pink footwear liao...n i areadi hv one pink new balance...den i bought another pink fila...now pink sandals...muaha...pinki-fied...
and when tears mix themselves with the water from the shower head, i might not even know im crying.---got this fr sha's bloggie...
and when tears fall on my pillow, it dries up the nxt morning, n i mite not rem crying.---me-oh my

-din hv to go to sch, had 6 tuition kids...-took on e sentosa job...-mi n my darlin got tog...-a lvl rslts...-my baby rongy passed awae...-tioman trip w e zhuliu ppl...-my driving license...-moe scholarship...-wo xing wo su fa biao hui at mox bar n cafe...-first perf at nus, relak one korner...-stayed in kr hall, c blk...-survived 1st sem in nus...-went to 2 chalets...-sang at a wedding...-kboxing overnite...-darlin go london...-joined guilly...-guilly camp....

30 dec thurs met shuhui n jialiang at psr mrt...but they were late...so saw e seniors first...yexiang tt batch n junqiang...took e saem bus there tho...went there first thing plae mahjong...haha...played a few rds...den went up to watch them plae bridge...i dun lk bridge... =/ den ate some beehoon...den we played heart attack...yeah~ w shuxian ard...its v exciting onez...hee...den xinlei introduced e name calling game...once agn...stressful n exciting...den it was time out...haha...

at first no plans for countdown one...den was asking ard...den kor told mi he's going w e biketrials guys...so i went along...last yr oso w them ma...so i ren shi them oso...so nelwin drove to my place...with marcus n kor in e car areadi...went to pick yongsheng...den we went to cine...den alexis came...we had dinner at pastamania...den went to drink at indochine at wisma...i din drink la...den they askask y i nv drink...haha...den we drove to oub building there...to overlook e sea n feel e vibes coming fr e esp side...took pix...when alexis upload i shall show...den went to sit near e raffles mrt...den got a lot of trial riders there...so we chatted...
den decided to drive over to marina bay...they 4 of them went to plae lan...mi n kor went out aft a while...cos too cold liao...haha...den we chatted much too...outside was cold too la...hee...
