17 dec fri in e end went to
camp at nite...camp for e
minds kids...guilly n yck...supposed to meet
manager at yio chu kang mrt den go tog one...in e end turn out he still working...so cldnt meet mi...so in e end met
mei en n xiangyun...den we walked lorh...den when we reached e sch was locked! lucki got ppl come down n open for us...den when i was walking up e stairs...suddenli got ppl call mi...yuan lai is
yishu...he was here to help for e carnival they were having at tt time...yepz...gave mi a scare tho...haha...
went to e hall...found my kid...
shuteng...so hung ard w her...watched her
plae games...den we had a
disco nite...she does enjoy dancing...den aft tt went to slp...but din get to slp tt well...cos she's used to waking up at hrly intervals to tell u to bring her to bring her to e toilet...so u wil b woken up by her lorh...but cos there were 3 of us there...one of e volunteers took her for v long liao...so noe her tactic...so ended up she was e one who kept bringing her to e toilet...and cos e volunteer let us other 2 rest cos e nxt nite she not staying liao...
18 dec sat woke up earli...den went to
nus for swimming! kinda swimming...but mostli games for them...den aft tt had lunch at e running track there...started to rain...den we boarded e bus...wanted to go animal farm one...where e kids can get to c e animals...i tink it is a mini zoo...in e end...went to
compass pt shopping centre to shop...went to cold storage...where
shuteng had a hard time deciding wat to buy cos we had a tite budget...went bk...prac for our concert item...den had dinner...
aft dinner had an
xmas party...there was decorate
xmas tree comp...magic show...dance...an interactive plae...n even a santa claus...to hand out presents to e kids...den...went to bathe...
shuteng slept earli...but woke up at 4...n called mi to accompany her to e toilet...haha...e worst thing was going to e toilet twice in 10 mins...tt was so *argh*...but i survived...we all survived...haha...i tink we were e
first to b up...so we let her open her xmas gift...stationary set...so let her draw...den look at magazine w her...ask her to recognise objects...yepz...
19 dec sun had breakfast...den prac for e concert...so cute...all of them...den was e real thing liao...not bad la i muz sae...den off they went...din wait for them to go up on e bus bk to guilly...i left first...managed to find my wae bk...ok ba i guess...turned out lito cancelled...so managed to reach hm n rest...watched
shrek in e nite...
20 dec mon played games...n gave tuition for
henry...
todae nuahed...n got bk keyboard fr
chris...more games...
camp in short was an
enjoyable one...first time having a camp w e mentally disabled kids...altho tiring...but u learn much abt them...how to handle them...how each one of them has their own character...miss e groovy
